Day 309 – At home in St. Pete after a really long day.
Day 308 – I played a fun show with my friends Brandon and Mike tonight. Lots of friends made it out, and many laughs were had, most at my expense, but I’m use to that. – Photo by Maigh and her fancy iPhone.
Day 307 – I haven’t even finished all my Halloween candy (beer) and Lennox Mall has the tree up already?
Day 306 – We’re still working some late hours, but at least we get to do it from home lately.
Day 305 – Did you get a haircut? New shirt?
Oh… I see it now.
Don’t worry, it’s coming back.
Day 304 – Every year as the holidays get closer my thoughts drift back to years gone by. I don’t know if it’s changing leaves of Fall, or the cooler days and longer nights, but I find myself thinking about people, that for whatever reason aren’t in my life anymore.
My Dad was in my mind today, he loved to go for walks and long car rides. I know I’ve inherited that gene from him. I love to jump in the car and just go wherever the yellow dotted lines and blacktop take me. I think it’s one of the things that make me, me.
When I was younger and living in California my Dad and I went for long walks on the rocky shores of San Pedro’s Point Ferman, or up in the mountains of Yosemite and Sequoia. He always called me “Rock Hound McNicholas,” the way I seemed to skitter over boulders big and small without pausing a step.
Today, in Sweetwater Creek I summoned the inner kid in me and Dad and I went for a long hike. It was great talking to him again, even if there was only one set of footprints on the trail behind me.
Day 303 – A fun and crazy Halloween! 3 parties, a French guy trying to kiss me, an out of control fire pit, dancing, and Taco Bell. Very fun.
Day 302 – 11:59:59
Day 301 – Typical lunch today, played some Bakugan with Robyn outside while sitting in some vintage red globe chairs.
Day 300 – that is all.
